I spoke with Regina to discuss her company’s growth and appeal. For a young company, you have received numerous awards and accolades. What do you contribute to your “instant fame?”In 2013, we were voted “Chicago’s Best New Wedding Planner” by Wedding Industry Expert Awards. Recently, we were selected as one of Chicago’s “Best Wedding Planners” by Weddingful.com. We were also awarded Reverie Gallery’s “Readers’ Choice Award.” Our growth and fame is from client and vendor recommendations. I love what I do and it shows. The clients appreciate that investment in making their dream day special.

How did it all start? After graduating law school and moving to Chicago in 2005, I was living on my own and finally had the perfect space to host events. After my housewarming party, family and friends asked me to plan holiday and birthday parties. I quickly became known for my attention to detail, elaborate centerpieces, and unique décor. As friends became engaged, one insisted that I help plan her wedding. The spark was immediate. I thrived on offering sound advice and handling stressful tasks that allowed the bride to keep her focus on her career and life. Seeing how valuable my help was to her was all the motivation I needed to follow my dream!

Most people do not think that they need a wedding planner.A wedding is a celebration of love. It’s also a production with wardrobe, set, cast and characters. A production needs a producer who knows how to manage vendors and has contacts and experience in the industry. The wedding is the big moment. You need someone that is not emotionally involved that can dedicate the 400 hours needed to produce a wedding. On a daily basis, I receive many emails and phone calls from vendors (venue, florists, photographer, band). My job is to handle the communications and manage the stress so that the bride does not have to deal with it. My biggest selling point is providing a stress free experience. My couples are working professionals, CEOs, and entrepreneurs. They hire me to handle the stress of their wedding because they don’t have the time to take away from their professional jobs to manage a wedding. What are three tips you would suggest to any bride?Tip 1: Hire an experienced wedding planner. Your wedding is your special day. It is the not the time to experiment with someone that doesn’t know the industry. My job is to help brides create their dream wedding by providing the best team to create their vision and oversee the day so it goes off without a hitch.Tip 2: Find supportive friends and family that understand that this is your day, not about them. Often, couples make decisions to make others happy, but your support system will encourage you to follow your vision for your wedding.Tip 3: Go into the planning process with an open mind. An experienced team of creative partners can turn the inspiration you get from other weddings and make it uniquely your love story if you give them room to do so.

You and your wedding planner will spend many hours together and on the phone planning your wedding. Pick someone you enjoy being around and that you trust!

Glen Spose, well-known atelier located in the center of Rome, Italy, presents the new 2016 collection of wedding and evening gowns. The gowns are characterized by a return to romanticism, to tradition and to the beauty of the modern world. The dress gets more feminine and princely, with plunging necklines in back, for a modest sensuality. Even the form-fitting models, such as the mermaid, are softened with a tulle overskirt and lace border.

Lightness and simplicity come into fashion between several layers of fabric that create a more fluid design, offering movement: organza, tulle, chiffon, but also precious embroideries, enhancing each woman’s strategic points, in sensual sheer.Lace takes center-stage, especially rebrodè and chantilly, yet still embroidered and worked with small crystals, semi-precious stones and beads, applied so as not to obscure the texture. The color palette favors warm tones such as ivory or silk, more classic, but also subtle shades of pink, always in high demand by the more romantic brides.

Comments designer Paola Stramucci of Glen Spose: “The romantic gown has come back in fashion, from the wide embellished skirt to laces and points of light. Perhaps because of this difficult moment in history, characterized by fear and anguish toward the future, there is a need for certainty, a return to tradition, with a classic wedding gown, as it used to be.”

In the studio there is always the ceremonial line with cocktail and evening gowns, haute couture creations this year playing on unusual combinations of colors: teal with red, sea green for embroideries, to add a touch of light.

Every gown, however, can be customized, as it is tailored and hand-made by expert seamstresses and embroiderers, based on the indications given by the bride, accompanied by Italian designer Paola Stramucci, so that every woman’s dream becomes reality.

About Glen Spose

The Glen Spose studio was founded in Rome, Italy, in the mid-1930s and is still today one of the leading ateliers in the city. Currently, designer Paola Stramucci personally creates all of the models in the collection, which she customizes from time to time according to the needs of her clients, following them throughout all phases of creation, for every single dress.

Each creation is unique and exclusive, as it is hand-made by a staff of seamstresses and embroiderers, with lace and embroidery drawn specifically by the designer. Locatedright in the historic center of the city, a few steps from the most famous and fascinating places of the city: Piazza San Pietro (Vatican), the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Via Veneto, the well-known life of the Dolce Vita.

The atelier Glen Spose is one of the most famous ateliers of the Eternal City today, having become a reference point through the years for the brides who do not want to give up wearing a dream, on their most beautiful day, or for moments when the right clothes make the difference in the life of a woman who loves class.

It has been twelve months since they tied the knot.

The sweet snap was uploaded with the caption: 'Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary, my love', which generated more than 900 'likes' by her followers.

It also sparked plenty of affirmative comments from people offering their congratulations to the loved-up pair.

One wrote: 'Wow, one year already? Same weather this weekend too. Happy anniversary to you both Jax.'

Guy and Jacqui's wedding - which took place in a sprawling Wiltshire estate - came three years after their engagement and five years of dating.

A star-studded affair, it boasted VIP guests including Brad Pitt, Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer and Jason Statham and his girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, plus David Beckham and Jemima Khan.

Guy's son from his marriage to Madonna, Rocco, also played a role in the lavish ceremony.

Guy and Jacqui have three children together, one-year-old Levi, two-year-old daughter Rivka and three-year-old Rafael, but Rocco, 14, and adopted son David, nine, are his boys from his first marriage to the Material Girl hitmaker.

Jacqui and Guy started dating in April 2010 after meeting at friend's party one year previously.

However, things quickly got serious when Essex-native Jacqui discovered she was pregnant just nine months into their romance.

They announced their engagement a few weeks before their daughter Rivka was born in November 2012.

Bridal capers

With the wedding season barely two weeks away, we explore the bridal trend that’s been spotted on runways across the globe — capes. “Capes have a very strong, dramatic and youthful look. Playing with length and volume adds to the fun for the wearer. I’d say keep it light, clean and simple, or it could prove to be too much, specially for the Indian weather,” says designer Anupama Dayal. Here’s how you can get the look

Mango showers

Give the reds, greens and pinks a miss and opt for this striking mango-hued number by Smriti Jhunjhunwala. The outfit features a plain yellow anarkali and matching churidaar pants made from georgette. The detachable cape, which doubles up as a dupatta, gives the ensemble a glamorous touch with dull gold zari work that runs along its edges. Rs 25,000 approximately.

Simple elegance

This Payal Singhal number is perfect for a pre-wedding function. A beautiful contrast of pomegranate and powder blue shades, the dupion silk, flared lehenga is teamed with a red and gold brocade bustier. The delicate net cape falls gently down the shoulders and is bordered with lace crochet work in dull gold. Rs 49,650 approximately. At Altamount Road, Mumbai.

Creme caramel

Caramel, silver and ivory tones come together for this mellow yet stunning number from Ohaila Khan. Crafted from silk georgette, the neckline and cape bear hand embroidered ivory and silver resham and kasab (similar to zari) embellishments in a floral design. Rs 33,300 approximately. At Aza, Mumbai.

Crystal clear

This Oscar de la Renta gown is crafted from a crimson silk-satin fabric. The top half of the garment is studded with ruby-red crystals, sequins and beads to add a touch of shimmer. The cape lends the dress a luxurious touch, without being too over the top. Rs 4,60,690 approximately on netaporter.com

Feeling fly

This unusual creation is perfect if you’re headed to an afternoon wedding. From Ayinat by Tania O Connor, this piece has a slightly more casual vibe but manages to look dressy at the same time. We love the soothing shade of green that is well complemented by gold sequinned dragonflies. The outfit includes dhoti pants in silk crepe, a tube top made with knitted fabric and a tulle cape. Rs 21,200 approximately. At Atosa, Mumbai.

Going for gold

Deepika Padukone who won best actress at the IIFA recently stunned everyone with her Sabyasachi bralet and skirt teamed with a matching cape and lovely emerald jewellery. Sonia Sandiavo, stylist to actress Amala Paul, says, “I thought she looked great. It works beautifully for someone with Deepika’s height, but might prove a bit over the top for those on the shorter side.” Joining Padukone was Athiya Shetty, another long-legged lass who rocked a powder blue jumpsuit with an attached cape.

Ciara and Russell Wilson

Ciara and Russell Wilson are officially married.

The happy couple tied the knot in front of their closest friends and family - including Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Rowland - on Wednesday at a fairy tale castle in Cheshire.

The bride wore a custom Roberto Cavalli gown as she exchanged vows with the Seattle Seahawks player at the UK's stunning Peckforton Castle in front of their celeb pals.

Fit for a pop princess! Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson married on Wednesday in a fairy tale castle in the heart of Cheshire, UK, and the bride looked stunning in a custom Roberto Cavalli gown

The pair, who decided to abstain from sex until they were married, were surrounded by their nearest and dearest, with Us Magazine reporting that Lala Anthony and Kelly Rowland were bridesmaids.

And it turns out the couple were already legally married under U.S. law before they walked down the aisle in England.

The two applied for a marriage certificate in King County, Washington, that was signed by a judge there on Tuesday, according to TMZ.

That meant they were legally husband and wife the day before they exchanged vows.

Ciara's dress was a white lace creation with billowing sheer sleeves, a corseted top and a lace-up neckline, leaving some of her cleavage on show.

It appeared to be a fishtail gown and boasted a long train and a matching veil, and the Goodies hit-maker wore her caramel tresses down in soft waves, and carried a bouquet of white flowers.

It's no surprise that Ciara chose Cavalli's creative director Peter Dundas to design her cheap wedding dresses melbourne, as she was named as the face of the brand last year.

Russell, who sported a black morning suit and white shirt and flashed his wedding band, shared the first photo from the big day to his Instagram page just before 10pm UK time, with the caption: 'We are The Wilsons!'

The sweet snapshot showed the newlyweds grinning and holding hands as they made their way back down the aisle, and gave a glimpse of an altar adorned with candles and a flower arch.

One of the bridesmaids could be seen in the background, wearing a dark-coloured one-shouldered dress and carrying a bouquet.

Ciara posted the same photo with the same caption to her own social media accounts.

There was a sign posted on the entrance to the castle on Wednesday morning confirming it was closed for a private function.

The 19th century castle has previously hosted the weddings of England footballer Jamie Vardy and Sunderland player Wes Brown.

The Gothic-style, Grade I listed building is surrounded by 36,000 acres of parkland and features 48 bedrooms.

Ciara would have had the choice of hosting her celebrations in the Great Hall, Hexagonal Room or the Drawing Room, while blessings can be held in the Chapel and there's also an atmospheric wine cellar for guests to retreat to.

Guests are no doubt being put up in the hotel, boasting 48 individually designed bedrooms, mixing luxury and contemporary decor.

The castle is often used as a filming location for movies and TV shows, including Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes, a 1991 Robin Hood movie and, more recently, The Real Housewives Of Cheshire.

According to TMZ, the couple asked guests to hand over their mobile phones ahead of the ceremony so that no photos are posted to social media.

And before she had to part with her phone, JHUD made sure to snap a few photos in her glamorous coral Christian Siriano gown.

Ciara was apparently feeling the nerves earlier in the day, with a source telling E!: 'Ciara has been getting ready all morning.

'She has all of her bridesmaids helping her. It was hard for her to sleep last night. She is so nervous but so excited for today.'

Meanwhile Russell looked relaxed when he was seen boarding a mini-bus to head to the castle for the big day.

The footballer was dressed down in a grey T-shirt, jeans and a white baseball cap, while somebody else carried the tuxedo he would be changing into.

Ciara and Russell have been enjoying the sights of Northern England this week, with the couple spotted out for their rehearsal dinner in Liverpool on Tuesday night.

E! reports that the couple had their pre-wedding dinner at Stanley's Bar and Grill at the Titanic Hotel, where guests gathered to be transported to the wedding venue on Wednesday.

But Ciara's close friend Serena Williams was not among the 100 guests after sailing through to the Wimbledon quarter finals this week, following her win against Russian player Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
